3PL FAQ
We are a B2B marketplace platform that connects companies looking for warehousing solutions with a network of over 2000 warehouses, ready to facilitate those needs. Our algorithm saves everyone time by finding the optimal matches for projects needing specific warehousing solutions. Once matched, our ‘Howzers’ will send competitive quotes for ‘Shipperz’ to review and select their perfect fit.
Within a few clicks, the Howzer will generate an agreement for the Shipper to sign and the project will become active. Both parties will be able to manage active projects using our automated platform tools to send orders, receive shipment information, communicate, and manage your invoices/payments. Our team will help facilitate any further questions as the project nears the start date and help both parties come to an agreement if any circumstances change or problems arise.
Warehowz operates across multiple verticals. We offer everything from frozen storage, HAZMAT, retail, eCommerce fulfillment, pick, pack and ship, kitting, etc.; if you need it, we offer it.
First, detail the requirements for your new project from the dashboard. Then our platform will search for the best available Howzers and notify them of new projects available for quoting. Once you receive a quote back our tools will help you break down estimates and understand rates for your project, before moving to the contract phase.
First, complete your account details and provide updated warehouse listing data. Then once in the Warehowz platform you will begin receiving quote requests from Depozitors seeking estimates for their projects. Timely responses, accurate listing information, and completed projects will all factor into the Howzer rating which determines your priority for project assignments.
If you are connected through the quoting process for a project, users can utilize the messaging tool in the project dashboard to communicate. If not already connected, you can utilize the help button or chat window and our team will respond with an answer in 1-2 business days.
The warehouse is in control of generating and releasing invoices. Standard terms are set at Net15; Depozitors have 15 days to review released invoices and request revisions. After the review period, our payment processor, Stripe, will debit the client’s account automatically with the information on file.
All Warehouses on the Warehowz platform are required to have a minimum of $1M of general liability insurance coverage. Additional insurance can be acquired/provided upon request.
By registering your email you agree to the Warehowz Terms of Service, stating that you will not circumvent our platform and do business with Warehowz partners strictly through our platform for at least 1 year. However, the contract terms and pricing of each project are negotiated directly between the clients and warehouses. Warehowz hosts the contract signing and saves a copy with each live project.
We align our incentives with our client’s success. Warehowz only gets paid when our clients and warehouses are conducting transactions. Warehowz’s revenue is a small percentage of the transactions hosted by our platform. Our financial success is directly tied to fostering successful on-demand relationships that keep clients and warehouse operators coming back for more.
Traditionally, logistics services, visibility software, and optimization/design tools are separated. We provide one unified solution. Warehowz analyzes your supply chain to identify opportunities for optimization and then helps implement improvements accordingly across our network.
If you have a need for any amount of space, we are here to help. However, if you are able to fulfill your needs with a personal storage unit we suggest that you pursue that option first.

We have an extensive vetting process before a warehouse is deemed eligible to join our network. Every provider is screened to ensure that their facilities and teams meet our quality standards. Additionally, Warehowz continually tracks quality metrics across all warehouse providers through our technology platform, enabling us to consistently monitor the performance of ongoing operations and create a baseline of metrics.
Each of our warehouse providers is required to have insurance and assumes liability for loss or damage that they cause to the goods that they store, or for damage caused due to their negligence. The owners of the goods maintain coverage for any damage caused by “acts of God/nature.” Warehouse providers can also get access to additional Warehouse Legal Liability insurance through Warehowz.
Warehowz Operations Coordinators manage damage claims. If one of your pallets is damaged, please contact your Warehowz OC. The Warehowz Operations team will initiate the process to investigate any claims that may arise regarding damage to goods.
The warehouse is in control of generating and releasing invoices. Clients have 6 days to review released invoices and request revisions. After the review period, our payment processor, Stripe, will debit the client’s account and hold the money for an additional 5 days. After the Stripe holding period, the money is deposited directly into the warehouse bank account.
We do our best to ensure that pricing is as up-to-date and accurate as possible; however, listed prices are subject to change based on current warehouse capacity, demand, etc. Every reservation includes a scope document to which both parties (shippers and warehouses) agree that includes finalized pricing based on exact project requirements.
Due to the liability and security of the warehouse facility, physical access to the warehouse providers in the Warehowz network is not typically permitted. However, access to inventory audits is allowed and must be scheduled in advance per the Warehouse Services Agreement. Contact the Warehowz Operations team to schedule.
Transportation of goods to and from Warehowz warehouse-provider locations is typically arranged by the owner/depositor of the goods.

Every pallet is assigned a unique pallet ID at the point a new order for storage is created in our system. When pallets are delivered to the warehouse, the warehouse operator uses these IDs to verify that what they receive matches the order reservation prior to putting the pallets away. If there is any discrepancy, the Warehowz Operations team will troubleshoot and fix the problem.
